Red Flag Environmental Warning Art Project
For years the red flag has been the symbol of warning and distress. Because of global environmental collapse brought on by humanities exploitation of Earth’s resources without regard of the consequences. Our children’s, children’s, children face a dark bleak future we would not consciously bequest to them. The goal of the Red Flag Project is to awaken the community. To the make them conscious of the results of their choices, actions and inactions impact on that future we are fast colliding with. To bring about a transformation in the basic structure of our communities. To honor our place in the community of life as conscious beings capable of choosing a bright future and acting on those choices. .
The first Red Flag action will be at BadSeed on June 5th First Friday with a Street Art display of red flags and bamboo sculptures.
We would like to expand the project to include street performances of spoken word, music, dance and short dramatic presentations on this theme.
